What is the Shopping Barbados Discount Club?

It is an exclusive membership program designed to help you save money while supporting local businesses. Members get access to special discounts, unique incentives, and exciting prize draws across a wide network of participating stores and services in Barbados.

How much does membership cost?

Membership costs approximately $25 per year. This single fee grants you full access to all club benefits, discounts, and prize eligibility for 12 months.

How do I get my discounts?

Once you join, you will receive a unique digital member code. Simply present this code at any participating business to be scanned at checkout. Your discount or incentive will be applied instantly.

How do the prize draws work?

We keep things exciting with two types of draws:

  • Flash Draws: Random drawings held at any time during the month.

  • Monthly Grand Draws: Our main draw held during the first week of every new month (rewarding activity from the month just ended).

How are winners chosen?

Winners are selected in two ways. Sometimes we draw from people who recently had their codes scanned at a shop (Patronage Draws), and other times we pick a name at random from our entire membership list (Random Draws).

Do I really need to keep my receipts?

Yes! To be eligible to collect any prize, you must show proof of purchase from a participating business.

  • For Flash Draws, your receipt must be from the current month.

  • For the Monthly Grand Draw, your receipt must be from the preceding month.

What counts as “proof of purchase”?

You can show us the actual physical paper receipt or a “virtual copy,” such as a clear photo of the receipt on your phone. The image must clearly show the business name, the date, and the transaction total.

Why is there a “Current Month” receipt rule?

Our mission is to support local commerce. This rule ensures that prizes go to our active members who are out supporting our partner businesses every month. We recommend snapping a photo of your receipt as soon as you shop so you are always “prize-ready.”

Can I share my membership code with family or friends?

No. Your membership and digital code are unique to you. To claim a prize, the name on the membership account must match your photo ID and the proof of purchase provided.

How will I know if I’ve won?

We will contact you directly via the email or phone number you provided at registration. We also announce winners on our social media pages, so keep a close eye on our updates!
